when i first read about that i laughed my ass off for a few mins, then i dled the short clip on the wii....then i laughed some more.
maybe wii missing something with this name, either way it looks like the people in nintendo are really smoking wiid

next few years they might bring out the pii or kock or some rubbish like that

er when i said rubbish i was refering to the name as rubbish and not the console iself.
is there something worng with thinking the name is rubbish?
some of allyuh online people really kinda wierd, no offensive but i had an arguement recently with some a$$hole about it -.-

i do have issues with hte console though, but i have an open mind about it until i actually see games and just how exactly it's going to run

I'm sorry, but to tell you the honest truth, I dont have a problem for the name of it. But its more like what it seems to represent; When I hear a name for a gaming console that pretty much tells me about it, when I hear something like Wii, that sounds somewhat childish, and it just kinda seems to show the side that nintendo is taking with their Wii.

I for one, if i decide to buy this 'Wii' device, NOT gonna walk in the mall and ask the nice girl at the counter:

"Family, I'd like to buy a Wii please."
"Yuh have any Wiis in stock?"

Imagine her reaction...(and remember, this is Trinidad, yuh know how dem gyal like to coast already!)

and yeah boy Protojoe, the name does sound childish. That is probably the best aspect of it.

cause I've always admired Nintendo's focus on youth and the inner child in all of us. Enough with the Grand Theft Auto, nothing is as refreshing as some MarioKart in a world of murder and mayhem.
