come lets have some debate amongst real fighters, I said tekken is the best fighting game and I got a lot of dissagree's, imperial x said that tekken 4 has flaws (which every game does example guiles stupid but simle advantage and sharons advantage over guile in ex3) and crix said street fighter over tekken, dont get me wrong i am a true street fighter enthusiast but there is no way in my opinion that street fighter has any kinda of dept when compared to tekken. and why this cat said the soul edge series including the caliburs, wasnt there one soul edge? somebody let me know

Tekken 3 was like magic. That game had me hooked.

Tekken 4 is pure sweetness. The graphics rock and even though they messed up Jin, making him almost a new character with different moves, I still rank it as one of my all time favourites.

Infact, it's the only reason I own a PS2. Tekken iwmc.

I'm a big street fighter fan as well. Also love the KOF series.

Last Blade 2 = 0wnage

Don't even get me started on Samurai Shodown.

So many fighting games and they all kick ass. It's hard to put one above the other.

that is more ownage than i could own u in AOE ah mean come on yuh could play with every childs alter ego SPIDERMAN AND WOLVERINE steups hmm that is the only reason fuh me to plant my foot in a arcade other wise i not going i loss real games to get to the point i is men sticking me in corner and infinity combo immc now i takin advantage of the noobs and dem hmm it ironic now i making dem loss coin

Ok well the soul edge series is dread.
and tekken also.But I like Street Fighter and te spinoffs,also KOF is boss and Last Blade,but the moves kinda annoying in thet game.
BUT Guilty Gear series is the one that i fancy most...........It just gread.

Q Dizzle, you want a challenge in XvSF? If you do, you got one. I'm a bit rusty, but I can dish out pain. That is one game I rule the arcade in also. As long as the joysticks working properly, we will battle if ur up to it. Name the place.

Imperial, I COULD GIVE YUH COMP. in XVSF... that's the only game i could play real good in arcade. I not sayin i could mash yuh up, i jus say u goin to get some flamin competition. Once we have proper joysticks that is.....

seung mina i sin soul calibur 2, yu really should spend some time with it.

i said the soul edge series because for one, the game originated with soul edge and the others are its sequels and no it wasnt just one soul edge.

there was soul edge, soul edge version 2 which was like an upgraded soul edge, better graphix and de addition of inferno and cervantes as playable characters. Then came soul blade (ver 2 is basically the same thing. Soul blade was inteded as an expereimental prerelease to soul calibur, an excuse to port it to consoles. Then calibur and calibur 2.

ANd as for yu nightmare boy, what yu mean street fighter eh have no depth compared to tekken *gets mad hysteric look in eyes*
there is no other fighting GAME that has such a deep background and dedicated legion of followers. Ryu's story alone is deeper than the whole tekken ensemble.

As for gameplay, the two games differ,( except both being 2d except for tekken 4*snicker*)

but they are both very great for different reasons, streetfighter has always had the best 2d battle system, next to the whole kof scene of courses.

the xmen vs street figther series is no series, it ends with xmen vs streetfighter
and should be held seperate from the others.
the marvel vs capcom series sucked, it was nice have all those characters but marvel vs capcom made the combos a simple matter of button mashing and then part two reduced the game to four buttons MESS!

the engines were too diff form the xvssf game

AND I HOLD THAT GAME IN AS MUCH ESTEEM AS THE SOUL EDGE SERIES
I AM JUST AS DANGEROUS OR MAYBE EVEN MORE SO DANGEROUS IN XVSSF THAN I AM IN SOUL EDGE

SO IMPERIAL THAS ALSO SOMETHING I HADDA COME AND BE THE DADDY IN WHEN I REACH HOME.
