I beta tested one yesterday.... its pretty impressive! Logged into gatt fine..........browsed plenty websites. This is one thing u guys should look foward for.....but im sure the prices for it would be sky high!

Its at a reasonable speed........like around a 56k.,,,, a lil bit slower.......but its impressive! All of that wireless!! And i got to test it out..

I have ADSL and anything else freeks me out..... But for mobile surfing and Blue Tooth I may be able to practice patience.

Yeah they've been beta testing these phones for over a year and still they have not yet released it to the public. A contract worker for tstt once told me that it works fine but what is taking so lon is they don't yet know how to rape us with the billing cycles....so everyone get their vaseline handy :shock:

I have this on my phone for about a year now.

old news.

it has a transfer limit though and is gonna be expensive as hell when it's out of the beta.

be warned.

I hope some other company comes down by then and does it too...and gives us edge...edge=fast gprs internet.

then it go be mass.

well i got the ericsson p900 and it's basically a web-oriented fone... but ah can't get on the net yet.... but ah doh think that the prices here would affect me cause i leavin to go study anywho in a month or so, so well... is like yeah...... bun tstt....

I only heard about one that surfaced recently.....

As per AT&T, that's long anticipated,and not gonna happen anytime soon.
There is another cell company though, that's comming down , was on news n thing, my partner pops does be in them kinda thing n told me the name, but I forgot.
I heard eg: the 4000 phones tstt got, they give u it for underr 1500 with plans n thing, kickass if you ask me.
One of the major reasons i'm not buying a new phone.Tstt getting smart, they trying to get ppl to get on the gsm thingy, (especially postpaid) for the 18month(or is it a yr?) contract. Like my mom got a old samsung phone here, and they telling her if she trade it in, she getting 50% off ANY of they new phones , IF we take GSM postpaid.......like the mc's wanna shut down the CONNECT plans.

Internet on your phone?Great!,but is it worth the price?hahaah you not catching me paying a bunch of money to surf the netwhereever I am....unless it's pretty cheap.Hopefully this new company will give us something...
