Advent rising= Better than hl +hl2+doom+...alll games combined

Well it is no lie.

This is de single baddest game i ever play in my flikkin life, and das reallllllllllllllll games!!!

OMFG

this is the first game that after i beat it, i instantly want to go back and beat it again and again!!
To level every weapon out and level every power out to the max!!

AND THAT ENDING!! OMFG!!!

Steups, whole ah tuesday i go be reswettin advent.

I mean i spend bout 8 hours on it  saturday, wake up sunday and  the save file from saturday not workin!

i not even vex yes, i start over from another save file from before and jus play it out hole of sunday and do everything over, level out all my powers and weapons as much as possible!!

buh MYYY advent thread much uberer because i went thru reall hardship with the game.

I doh know if baego beat it yet buh that ender was soo flikkin bad

and it doesnt even end when yu think it ends!

its like one of those movies that still have some real ultra revealin part of the story line when the credits finish rolling.
making yu stand there waiting for the credits to finish rolling hoping there is more and then there is!!!

Cause litterally, after the game credits finish rolling, yu still have like 2 stages left to play, it sooo bad!!


I just read the game spot review on it, and for the first time in my life iam realll upset with them for the grade they gave it and the remarks they made on it.

They flikkin biggin up halo over this and this is sooo much better than halo!!

Even though majesco went thru real pressure after releasin this and psycho nauts, which supposed to be a dread game as well.
I hope they get to release the other two parts of  advent that they supposed to.

Playing this game was like making love to my PC. Total, utter and complete sci fi pwnage.

Didn't put it down till the entire experience was over and what an experience it was.

Glad to see someone else enjoyin this wonderful work.

Shizz also gushed about it after his taste of the Advent Rising universe.

I reiterate, if you are into science fiction, do yourself a HUGE favour and play this MC GAME!!!

This is one of those games that I was suprised more people were not talking about. Along with Advent Rising I would recommend Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and F.E.A.R. to all Sci Fi fans.

Fahrenheit is like what the last 2 Matrix movies should have been and more. It's one of those games you can enjoy just looking at as much as you would enjoy playing it and it has like 7 endings.

F.E.A.R. on the other hand is like a cross between Doom 3 and Silent Hill with some truely scary moments. You will find a good few times you have to put down the controls and take a second to compose yourself (at times it can be more scary than doom). Not to mention the A.I. too f*$%ing smart. It like playing against the freaking navy seals or a real military task force. By far the most advance A.I. i have ever seen in any game. They so damn smart that at times one would sneak around while you fighting the others and gun butt YMC!!

But I do agree that Advent Rising is far better than Halo and HL2. It's one of the coolest games I have seen since the first Max Payne.

  Halo  1 and 2 single player is bawls ,  i always said that , better than hl2?  I have to try it.. hard to believe the reviewers rated it so low and automatically give games like Halo or Doom 90 + ratings .   The story was bound to be great,  Orson scott card won a pile of sci fi fiction awards ,  he's the next arthur C Clarke .

I agree dude...Fahrenheit and F.E.A.R. are flawless games very innovative and pulse pounding..However back to the point at hand....

I would never believe that there would be a game as good as Half Life 2. However Advent Rising is a truly exceptional game. I haven't beaten it yet but judging by Crixx's remarks..it sounds like a true masterpiece. 2 thumbs up!

yeah xbox version was glitchy and it got a lot of bad rep for it

and when they fixed the bugs for pc version. they still harped over the bugs.

It is an amazing game even with bugs!!

yeah, the lack lustre xbox version soured the entire hype around Advent Rising.

That botched console debut led to a drop in stock price and the cancellation of the million dollar give away and a host of other issues. CEO Resigned from Majesco, etc...

Luckily, the PC version did not fail to impress.

Anyone with a scifi eye would recognise its greatness. Though still not flawless, it had WAY less bugs than the xbox version.

A totally playable and wonderful game.

Hopefully we will still see part two and three in the trilogy.

Part One is gonna be a tough act to follow though.

ppl the only thing that pisses me off about Advent Rising is I WANT TO PLAY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the game F'n dread. i sounding like a beat up record or a wednesday but dread i had to ad me 2cents. jeeeeeeeer
thankfully its part of a three part series so i wont have to wait long.

as for bugs. yes there are bugs. like main some pc games you get some hick ups and there are targeting issues BUT when you get your abilities LOL who needs a gun MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  its the best mixture of abilities and gunplay ive seen and its much better than most of what the critics pick.

Fear is a bad game. the bullet time story but for just pure fun Advent beat it and it runs on Unreal 2 engine so its not a machine killer like Fear. the only thing you regret is that when its over there is no more to play.
