Loved the first movie (as did the entire universe Id guess) but everything else afterwards sucked horrendously.

Hopefully this animated feature puts this on the right track.

Looks cool. I remember there used to be a cgi starship troopers series as well.

Btw I  have noticed just the embed links themselves showing up instead of a preview image. Using the share link fixes that.

they really trashed this IP with the last two movies. The third was practically a joke

Watched them all only as homage to the first. Like paying respects at a funeral.

Crossing fingers and toes that this will bring some glory back to the franchise.

Maybe even a game also deserving of the name. Best we got were those starship troopers mod for starcraft.

Took this in last night. Aside of some pretty hammy voice acting, this was actually pretty dam good. Took awhile to pick up, but it was pace once it did.

Felt like an unofficial sequel to the first, with the three main characters showing their faces in various roles.

Id give this 8 roasted bugs out of 10. Definitely worth a watch.
